Sadly, Olympus 2012 is over, but what a wonderful weekend it was! Thank you to everyone who made it such a huge success: our Guests of Honour; everyone involved in running the con; the many people who volunteered their time and energy over the weekend, whether as as helpers or programme participants; and, of course, every single member of the convention. Our thanks also to the staff of the Radisson Edwardian, for all of their help and support. Thank you: this was an Eastercon to remember.

Memberships closed

As announced earlier, we have reached maximum number of members for the convention. With the exception of a small number of complex bookings that have already been agreed, booking for convention memberships is now closed.

We’re sorry if you wanted to join and haven’t been able to, but we hope you will understand why – for both the convention’s and the fans’ sake – we have had to take this decision.

Please note that memberships will not be available on the door, so please do not travel to the convention without a membership, as you will not be able to join.

Radisson Edwardian bookings fixed

Convention hotels

Guest of Honour – Cory Doctorow

We are very pleased to announce that Cory Doctorow will be attending Olympus 2012 as a Guest of Honour.

Science fiction author, activist, journalist and blogger, Cory is the co-editor of Boing Boing and the author of the bestselling novel Little Brother. His latest novel is For the Win, a young adult novel, and his latest short story collection is With a Little Help. We are delighted that Cory will be joining us at Olympus 2012.

Guest of Honour – Tricia Sullivan

We are delighted to announce that Tricia Sullivan will be attending
Olympus 2012 as a Guest of Honour.

Tricia won the Arthur C. Clarke Award
for her novel Dreaming in Smoke, and she has been shortlisted for that
award and many others for her other work, including, most recently,
Lightborn. We are very pleased to welcome Tricia as a guest, and look
forward to seeing her at Olympus 2012.
